Cricothyrotomy catheter with an < 3 mm ID, especially designed to be used with Ventrain®.

In an emergency situation, often ‘Cannot Intubate, Cannot Oxygenate’, Cricath® offers rapid access to the trachea, by means of a needle cannula cricothyrotomy technique. Using Cricath® in combination with Ventrain® is key to rapidly and safely re-oxygenate and ventilate.

The ultimate solution in the “Non Intubable Non Oxygenable Non Oxygenable” (NINO)

“Non-intubable Non-oxygenable” patients represent an emergency that may require immediate access to the airway by means of a cricothyroidotomy technique. Ventrain® in combination with the Cricath® Transtracheal Catheter is the first and only emergency ventilation device on the market, which uses a 2 mm internal diameter catheter inserted through the cricothyroid membrane:

Allows the patient to be adequately ventilated using EVA® Assisted Ventila- tory Expiratory Ventilation technology in an obstructed upper airway.

It offers a minute volume (MV) of over 6 L/min and an I/E ratio of 1:1, when using a flow rate of 15 L/min.
