Holds an MSc both in in Economics (Imperial College London) and Diplomacy/International Strategy (London School of Economics & Political Sciences) and a MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (Health) (University College London). After a career wit senior positions in multinational Medical Technology Corporations (GSK, GE, Philips). Last position as Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer (USA/NL) and Member of the Executive Committee, Philips Healthcare, till 2006. Since then, Tim was Board Member / Chairman of over 20 medical, VC-financed companies: raised significant financing (incl IPO) and achieved multiple trade sales exits.
Today, he is ao. Professor of Practice at King’s College London incl. member of their Investment Committee & commercialisation Institute; Vice-Chair (previously Acting-Chair) of UK’s National Institute for Health and Care Excellence and Non-Executive Director / chair of 4 other MedTech scale-ups.
